Breaking Bad is an American television drama series created and produced by Vince Gilligan. The series is broadcast in the United States and Canada on the cable channel AMC and is a production of Sony Pictures Television. It premiered on January 20 2008. To date three seasons composed of 33 episodes have aired. The series has been renewed for a fourth season scheduled to premiere July 17, 2011.

Breaking Bad is the story of Walter White Bryan Cranston a struggling high school chemistry teacher who is diagnosed with advanced lung cancer at the beginning of the series. He turns to a life of crime producing and selling methamphetamine with a former student Jesse Pink man Aaron Paul with the aim of securing his family's financial future before he dies.

He was just a chemistry teacher diagnosed with cancer who wanted to provide for his family by making more money than a career in education could give him.

Who be better qualified to make the best crystal meth in town than a guy who knows their atomic numbers . Well things didn't go all that well. And now, as season four starts for Breaking Bad AMC today10 p.m. there still a mess to be cleaned up following the murder of a lab technician.

They are under the iron control of Albuquerque's most chilling criminal a meth kingpin who hides his identity as a guy who runs a chain of fast-food restaurants and keeps the former teacher and student nearly imprisoned in a state of the art drug factory. Giancarlo Expositor who plays the scary Gus Firing does more this season by saying even less.
