Paathshala, Forthcoming Bollywood film is debut venture on 70mm from Anil Dhirubhai Ambani owned production house, the Big Pictures.
Paathshala is set against the backdrop of the Indian education system and deals with contemporary and socially relevant issues regarding children. A perfect mix of emotions, comedy and drama, Paathshala carries a heartfelt message for children, parents and teachers.
A Mumbai suburban school’s management is putting undue stress on young children’s mind for monetary benefits. A school teacher unites other teachers to rise up against the mental atrocities on students of the school.
The film is being directed by award-winning Marathi director, Milind Ukey, so one can expect a blend of action and melody with some natural rawness that is characteristic of Marathi movies. As the title suggests, this movie can make the adults feel nostalgic of their by-gone school days and young teenagers to relate to their own lives. The music score of Paathshala is being given by Hanif.
